This weighty emerald glass ashtray captures clustered bubbles within thick, saturated glass. Its clear passages and dark green center change with light; the everyday ashtray becomes a piece of small-scale sculpture.
Curator’s Notes
I chose it for the density of its green and the suspended bubbles—details that give this collectible Italian art-glass ashtray depth and character.
