A dramatic black glass bowl animated by an intricate network of fine white lines that move freely across its glossy surface. The irregular threading creates an almost calligraphic composition, bringing energy and movement to the disciplined square form.
Gently curved sides and softly raised corners give the piece a sculptural presence. Equally compelling empty or used as a catchall, it offers a striking study in contrast, texture, and line.
Curator’s Notes
What attracts me is the tension between the structure of the bowl and the freedom of the white lines. The decoration feels almost like a drawing made in space. I particularly like it in a room with traditional furniture, where its spontaneity provides an unexpected modern note.
