Aqua Arc Italian Ceramic Pitcher
Campagna, Italy
Handmade ceramic pitcher by an Italian ceramist, found at a show in Paris. The pitcher has a rounded hand-wrought body, applied handle, soft white glazed surface, and pale aqua hand painted arc pattern. It may be used as a pitcher, vase, or decorative object.
Curator Notes
This one feels the easiest to live with. It has that pale, washed-out summer quality I love — not fancy, not trying too hard, but instantly charming. I can see it with white flowers, on a table, or sitting on a shelf doing absolutely nothing except making the room feel better.
