A rounded vessel with a handworked mosaic of patterned pottery fragments. Blue-and-white pieces, floral shards and small colored motifs give the surface its intricate texture—a mosaic of domestic memory.
Curator’s Notes
What appeals to me is the act of bringing fragments together. The French-looking pottery details suggest a larger story without proving a specific origin. Elegant folk art, made from what survived.
