A miniature pomegranate in mottled green porcelain opens to reveal raised raspberry-pink seeds. The contrast of glossy skin, tactile seeds and vivid color makes it a small sculptural surprise.
Curator’s Notes
I love placing one unexpected object among more serious pieces; the pink-and-green combination makes this tiny fruit impossible to overlook.
