Bridgehampton

A simple pine hutch (age unknown) that has lived many lives, in many cities. Painted red then stained a rich warm brown, it reveals tales of where it’s been. First in a hallway, then in a den, now in a dining room adding personality to every room it enters. We just painted the interior a beautiful shade of blue—just to give it pop of color.

The hutch was made in two parts. The top section has 2 shelves and chicken wire panels, suitable for housing books or displaying beautiful objects. The bottom section has shelves and provides storage space for treasures currently not on view (or table linens).

A block design cornice adorns the top edge.
