Ash trays used to be part of every living room décor—now, not so much.  But ashtrays like this set from the American brand Webster Sterling can be cherished for their deep history, simple straightforward design and sculptural shape. Webster Mfg. Co.started in 1859 in Brooklyn, NY, later moving to Meriden Ct; they were known for their sterling silver serving pieces and, in particular, their cocktail collection.

 Whether you use these as ashtrays, coasters or just decorative objects ,there is a story you can tell your guests about their journey to your home.
