Tiffany Designed Enamel Box of the Brooklyn Bridge Centennial

$250.00

New York, New York

This enamel box, decorated with the Brooklyn Bridge, was made by Halcyon Days Enamels and designed by Tiffany & Co to celebrate the Bridge's 100th Anniversary. Halcyon Days began in 1950 in Mayfair, London, as a shop for antique gifts. While enameling on copper was popular in the late 18th century, it nearly vanished by the 1830s; Halcyon Days brought this craft back to life in 1950.
