A round-shouldered bottle vessel with narrow neck, blue-gray mottled glaze and small raised white geometric markings. The raised pattern adds tactile detail to the irregular, weathered-looking surface.
Curator’s Notes
Found in Pasadena; I love the shift between smoky blues and the deliberate raised marks. It is especially effective beside polished wood and old paintings.
