A hinged, ridged metal scallop shell opens to reveal brilliant cobalt glass. The removable molded insert makes a striking contrast to the cool metal and turns a possible small serving vessel into a surprising catchall.
Curator’s Notes
What makes me smile is that unexpected flash of blue. I would place it among books or on a dressing table, where the discovery is part of its appeal.
Details
Dimensions: Approximately H 1" × L 5½" × W 5½" (closed)
Condition: Good vintage condition
Additional Details: Removable cobalt glass liner
