John Beerman Framed Print, "Island"
New York, New York
Signed Archival Pigment Print
22/26
Originally done as an oil sketch of an island off Three Mile Harbor in Springs Long Island, the image eventually transformed into this finished archival pigment print. I was drawn to the solitude and calm of the scene and the glow of the island reflected in the precious gold border. This print hung near a a dynamic and somewhat chaotic lithograph, coexisting because of their difference.
The artist, John Beerman is a landscape painter and North Carolina native and current resident. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and his 35-year career has garnered recognition at the highest levels of fine art.
