Vintage Cast Pewter Duck Trinket Box
Hong Kong
This cast pewter and brass duck was born in the mid 20th century and swam all the way from Hong Kong in the 90’s. At 7” long he exhibits the fine craft of engraving on metal; each of his feathers are etched in the metal. A brass trim in the center of his body, at the base, and on his eyes add emphasis to the different sections of the shape.
This duck is unique because of its size, 7 inch length. Most cast metal trinket boxes are 2-4”.
